At Mr. Black, we respect your privacy and are committed to maintaining your trust. This Privacy Policy describes our policies on the collection, use, and disclosure of information in connection with the use of our Service, including any of our mobile applications (“App”), our website, https://www.mrblackapp.com/ , (“Mr. Black Site”), and any other affiliated websites owned and operated by Mr. Black (collectively referred to as the "Service").

 

 

 

1. Information We Collect

Information is collected in different ways when you use our Service. We use this information to improve the quality of our Service and personalize your experience.

When you create an account with Mr. Black, you will be asked for various personal information such as your name, email, mobile number, mailing address, billing information, demographics, primary residency, date of birth, and any others. When a reservation is made for you, by you or by any other entity using the Service, the name and phone number is provided to all parties required in the proper use of our service, just as it would if you were making a reservation by contacting the provider directly. Further personal information pertaining to you/your client or reservation history may  be forwarded. You also have the option of providing special requests or comments regarding your reservation, which will be passed on to the prescribed venue. .

You will have the option to subscribe to our mailing list, and we will send updates and newsletters directly to the email address provided. If you’re a Subscriber, we collect information about your business that is submitted to the Service under your account. When you sign up for our Software Service, we may ask for your company name, address, phone number, email, credit card information, tax identification number, and other information about your business, as well as names and email addresses of authorized individuals on your account. We also collect Personal Information about your customers that they provide to the Service when they initiate a transaction with you, such as a reservation or purchase.

When you visit our Service, some information is automatically collected. For example, we may automatically collect your location, computer operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address, access times, browser type and language, and the website you visited before our Site we also track and store information about every action you take on our service and may use it to tailor your experience. You may disable our use of certain location data through your device or browser settings, for example by disabling “Location Services” for the Mr. Black App in iOS privacy settings.  We may also store usage data such as the date and time the application on your device accesses our servers, and what information and files have been downloaded to the application based on your device number.

We may deploy and read identifiers (generally, strings of code) that we have associated with a browser, and we may collect mobile identifiers such as Apple IDFAs or Google Android Ad IDs. We generally use and share these identifiers to help tailor more relevant ads to you both on our properties and when you interact with other websites and mobile apps.

If you initiate a transaction through the Service, such as a reservation or purchase, we may collect and store information, including your credit card account in order to process and finalize said transaction. We encrypt credit card numbers using industry standard technology. We may also collect other Personal Information at the request of the business you are transacting with.

2. Emails, Push Notifications and SMS messages from Mr. Black

Mr. Black sends automated messages in relation to upcoming reservations, such as confirmations, reminders, newsletters, and/or invitations to provide client feedback. You may select not to receive some of these communications in your account settings.

When you have consented to receive marketing communications from Mr. Black, you may receive communications relating to special offers or recommendations. You may unsubscribe from those Mr. Black communications at any time by sending an email to the marketing communications department with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line.

3. How Personal Information May Be Used

We may use your personal information to:

  1. Respond to your inquiries and fulfill your requests;
  2. Send administrative information to you, for example, information regarding our services and changes to our terms, conditions, and policies;
  3. Complete and secure your reservations/transactions at your specified Venue;
  4. Send you marketing communications that we believe may be of interest to you, such as to send you newsletters;
  5. Provide you with recommendations based on your reservation history and personalize your experience on the Service by presenting products and offers tailored to you;
  6. Facilitate social sharing functionality;
  7. Any other purposes related to the above.

4. How Personal Information May be Shared

Mr. Black will never sell, loan or otherwise distribute any of your personal information (including but not limited to your name, email address, phone number or any other identifiable information about you) to any third party without your prior expressed consent, however, when you make a venue reservation in order to facilitate said booking, your information is provided to that venue, just as it would if you made a reservation by contacting the venue directly.

Mr. Black does use aggregate data collected through its website and apps to analyze usability, system performance and usage trends. While this data, in its aggregate form only, may be shared with third parties with whom Mr. Black works to analyze it, the data will only be shared under the strictest terms of confidentiality and will never contain any personally identifiable information pertaining to any user of Mr. Black Service.

Credit Card Information: To make certain reservations, transactions or provide our service to venues, events, and other entities we require credit card account information. By submitting such information through our Service, you expressly consent to the sharing of your information with us, our customers, third-party payment processors, and other third-party service providers (including but not limited to vendors who provide fraud detection services to us and other third parties). Please be advised that we will only provide your credit card account information (including card number and expiration date, but excluding the CVV number) to our third-party payment service providers and the applicable venue.

5. Cookies, Web Beacons and Links

We and/our our third party service providers may collect Other Information in a variety of ways.  Different tracking technologies may be employed, such as cookies and web beacons, that help us better manage content on our Service by informing us what content is effective.

We use “cookies” on our  website. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance their experience on our Site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information and it cannot spread computer viruses, retrieve any other data from your hard drive, or capture your email address. Advertising cookies may be set through our website by our advertising partners. Data may be collected by these companies that enable them to serve up advertisements on other sites that are relevant to your interests.

Web Beacons are tiny graphic objects that are embedded in a web page or email and are usually invisible to the user but allow checking that a user has viewed the page or email. Web Beacons may be used within the Service to track email open rates, web page visits or form submission

This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.

6. Advertising Networks and Social Media Widgets

We may partner with third party data or ad networks and other service providers to show you relevant ads, including ads displayed on the Service and on other companies’ websites or apps, on any of your devices. We and our service providers may use cookies and web beacons to deploy and read cookie identifiers and Mobile Ad IDs, associated with your activities on the Service, third party web sites, mobile apps or other information we collect, to provide you targeted advertising based upon your interests. They may also use these technologies, along with activity information they collect, to recognize you across the devices you use, such as a mobile device and a laptop. These ad networks and their customers may also use any of this information to measure ad performance, understand their (or our) audience, or otherwise improve and enhance their marketing.

You have the option to opt out of such features.

Mobile Opt Out : You can opt out of having your Mobile Ad IDs used for interest-based mobile advertising by accessing the settings on your Apple or Android mobile device, as follows:

The Service includes social media features such as the “Facebook Like” button, and widgets, such as the “Share This” button or interactive mini-programs that run on our Site. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our Site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly.  Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Website. Your interactions with these features are not governed by us but by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

7.   Facebook Connect

You can log in to our Service using sign-in services such as Facebook Connect or an Open ID provider. These services will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain Personal Information with us such as your name and email address to pre-fill our sign up form.  Services like Facebook Connect give you the option to post information about your activities on our Site to your profile page to share with others within your network.

In addition, when using some of our mobile applications we may allow you a chance to tell friends about our services or your employer’s events or activities by accessing the contacts in your Facebook or other social media account and/or posting on your Facebook wall. 

8.  Third-Party Referral Information

If you choose to use our referral service to tell someone about the Mr. Black App via SMS or email, we will ask for that person’s email address, telephone number, name and other personal information. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email or SMS message inviting them to visit the mobile application. Mr. Black stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time message and tracking the success of the referral program. Your friend may contact us at unsubscribe@mrblackapp.com to request that we remove this information from our database.

When using this feature we will allow you to access the contact list of your device, without storing any of its contents on our servers, for the sole purpose of assisting you in finding individuals to whom you wish to send these communications. If you submit any Personal Information relating to other people to us or to our service providers in connection with the Service, you represent that you have the authority to do so and to permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.  Please also note that when using the SMS feature charges from your carrier may apply that is your sole responsibility. 

9. Security of Your Information 

The security of Personal Information is a high priority at Mr. Black. We maintain our Service and all associated data with technical and administrative safeguards to protect against loss, unauthorized access, destruction, misuse, modification and improper disclosure. Mr. Black uses a multi-layer encryption algorithm and makes its best efforts to ensure that all of your user information is protected. Additionally, all personal information is stored on a secure server. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. 10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Mr. Black reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy. Any such changes will be posted to the Site and App along with the effective date of the new policy. Your continued use of the Service following these changes means that you accept the revised Privacy Policy. We encourage all users to periodically check this section to keep themselves updated with the newest modified version. I f you do not agree to the terms of this Policy or any modified version of this Policy, you must terminate your use of our Service.
